What doesn't want to eat a flying fish? If you find yourself in pretty
blue water surrounded by tons of little fliers taking to the air, stop
and fish awhile. The first thing you should put in the spread are some
of Carolina Lures' 4-inch Mini Yummee Fly'rs.
You can fish these tasty-looking morsels alone, in chains or rigged in
front of other lures and on spreader bars. In fact, rig four or five
minis on droppers in front of each lure, and create the illusion of a
predator chasing a school of tiny flyers. Minis come in blue/crystal and
blue/silver and in packs of two unrigged baits or one rigged bait on a
5-foot, 100-pound-test mono-filament leader with a 7/0 J hook. You can
also get a rigged daisy chain of fliers to lure the most finicky
predators into your spread.
